We are a registered solar installer with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). The SEAI also provide Solar Electricity Grants up to a maximum amount of €3,000 for solar panel and battery system installations.

Solar PV systems capture the suns energy to produce high voltage DC power. This is then fed through an inverter which transforms it into the 230 volt AC power that we use in Ireland. From there it feeds into your distribution board (or fuse box) and on to power your home.

Solar systems with battery storage will also have a regulator (which controls the amount of energy going into the battery and prevents over charging) and a battery pack. The electricity then goes from the battery to the inverter for your standard household appliances.
